Principal, Lawyer and Mediator



Reesa is a senior family law lawyer and mediator. She has over 20 years of experience of working with clients resolving their family law issues with a focus on parenting and financial issues. Reesa has extensive court room experience and has worked diligently with her clients to reach equitable and reasonable solutions. Reesa brings her litigation and negotiation skills as well as her family law knowledge to her mediation practice to assist parties in mediating their disputes.

Reesa attended McGill Law School where she was in the National Programme. During her legal work, Reesa has had mediation training with University of Waterloo and Conrad Grebel University College. In addition, Reesa has had extensive training through Riverdale Mediation where she was trained in mediation, arbitration and parenting co-ordination. Reesa currently has her accreditation with AFF pending.

Prior to practicing law, Reesa spent many years in the financial services industry and her financial knowledge has benefited her in working with clients with basic and complex financial issues. Reesa has also participated in the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation. In addition to her practice in family law litigation and mediation, Reesa is empaneled as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the family courts in Toronto, Barrie and Durham.
