Melissa Frishling



Melissa is a dedicated and experienced professional offering expert service as a parenting coordinator. With a solid background as a registered social worker, she is committed to providing guidance and support to families navigating the challenges of co-parenting through family break ups. She has also worked for over seven years with children, youth, and families in the Toronto District School Board.

Over the years, she has gained valuable experience in working with children and families in different capacities enabling her to effectively assist parents in developing effective co- parenting strategies. Melissa firmly believes in the importance of fostering positive and healthy co-parenting relationships for the well-being of children.

Melissa’s focus as a parenting coordinator is rooted in creating open communication and a safe space to resolve conflict around parenting. Melissa will strive to empower parents to navigate their unique co-parenting dynamics and create a supportive environment where the best interests of the children remain the top priority. Melissa utilizes a collaborative, non-judgemental, confidential, approach while adhering to the highest ethical standards.

Melissa holds a master’s degree in social work from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work where she concentrated in trauma. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). Melissa enjoys spending time with her children, reading, exercising, and traveling. She volunteers mentoring families who have neurodiverse children.
